40 Year Reunion - Register Now!

Event Details

We are holding a “Destination Reunion” to celebrate the 40th anniversary of our graduation this summer at The Inn of the Mountain Gods in beautiful Ruidoso, NM in mid-June!  The event is scheduled with arrivals on Wednesday, June 16th, lots of great Ruidoso activities + reception + dinner on June 17th, and departures on Friday, June 18th.  Several of us plan to return to Clovis on Friday to also enjoy the 2021 Draggin’ Main Music Festival on Friday and Saturday.  We hope you will join us in the mountains this summer for lots of CHS good times!

In addition to our classmates from the Class of ’81, we also welcome members of other classes who would like to join in on the fun!  The event is not limited to just Class of ‘81.  Spread the word!  Because registration is being handled via the Clovis1981.com website and it’s a “members only” type of thing, please contact ClovisHigh1981@gmail.com to be added to the site roster.REGISTRATION:

Everyone who registers before February 19 will be entered into a drawing for a super special prize to be awarded at the event – don’t miss out!
Early registration ends on May 1.  The early registration fees are $105 for each Class of '81 member, with an addition fee of $85 for your spouse/significant other (non-CHS classmate).
Regular registration fees (May 1-May 31) are $135 for single and $235 for double.


Late/onsite registration ends on June 16.  The fees are $150 per person.  


We have arranged for a special discounted room rate of only $99 per night at the Inn of the Mountain Gods for Wednesday and Thursday nights.  Room reservations can be made by calling the hotel at (575) 464-7777 or (800) 545-9011.  Be sure to mention the “CHS Class of 1981 Reunion” when making your reservation in order to get the special discounted rate.  The room block contains standard rooms with choice of 1 king or 2 queen beds, subject to availability.  The room block goes away on May 17th and normal rates will apply after that cutoff.  However, with the resumption of travel that is expected to accelerate over the next couple of months, rooms are likely to be limited this summer, so don’t wait until the last minute to try to reserve a room – the sooner you make your reservation, the better!  

The tentative dates for the Draggin’ Main Music Festival are June 12-19.  This is pending the current NM Health Order currently in effect.  Be sure to “like” the Festival’s Facebook page (search for “Dragginmain”) if you would like to learn more about their event.


While It is our belief that the improving public health circumstances will allow the reunion to proceed, if the Inn of the Mountain Gods determines that the event must be canceled due to State of New Mexico health regulations related to CoViD-19, all registrations will be refunded.


All hotel room reservations have a 48-hour cancellation policy. Any changes on packages or rates to your reservation must be done by 3:00 p.m. 48 hours prior to your arrival date as your card will be charged the room rate plus taxes for the first night reserved at that time. Credit card authorization paperwork for 3rd party payments must be received by this time as well.
