From Clovis PD release:

Clovis, NM – April 28, 2021 – On Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at about 8:22 am, Clovis Police Department Dispatch received multiple 911 emergency phone calls in reference to ‘shots fired’ in the area of 700 block of East 5th Street.
Officers located two victims with gunshot wounds, who were at two different locations. Both subjects were transported to Plains Regional Medical Center with life threatening injuries. Officers were given a suspect description and name. The suspect was taken into custody within minutes of the call.
One victim, Ricky Johnson, 58 years of age, had been transferred to a Lubbock, Texas hospital, he has died of his wounds. The other victim, Kennedy Hodge, 53 years of age, died of his wounds at Plains Regional Medical Center
The suspect, Danny Price, 54 years of age, has been charged with Murder (1st degree felony, 2 counts), Tampering with Evidence (3rd degree felony, 1 count), Felon in Possession of a Firearm (3rd degree felony, 1 count) and Resisting, Evading, or Obstructing an Officer (misdemeanor, 1 count).
Danny Price is currently being detained in the Curry County Adult Detention Center.
