Cynthia Diane Carrasco-Parrott (1963-2011)

Cynthia Diane Carrasco-Parrott was born on March 23, 1963, in Clovis, NM, and passed away in Clifton, CO, on November 5, 2011. Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, November 10, 2011, at The Chapel, 1500 Thornton, with David Dawson officiating.
Cynthia attended school at James Bickley Elementary, Marshall Junior High, and Clovis High School in Clovis, NM. Cyndi played the saxophone for the Marshall Junior High school band. Then when she moved up to Clovis High School she decided to participate in the Clovis High School drill team. She had a special gift for taking care of her clients in the hearing aid dispensing profession. It had become her life's work. She was at her happiest after fitting a client. Cyndi wanted to take a mission trip to Africa to fit children with a hearing impairment. She liked all kinds of music, but above all she enjoyed Christian music. Her favorite radio station was K-Love.
Survivors include her husband, Jason Charles Parrott of Clifton, CO; father, Alvaro "Al" Carrasco of Clovis, NM; mother, Caroline Carrasco of Clovis, NM; daughter, Lauren Whitney Carrasco of Clovis, NM; a son, Tucker Matthew Northcutt of Broadview, NM; aunts and uncles, Madalena DiBiaso and Tom DiBiaso of Cape May, NJ, Patricia Cohen of Clovis, NM, Theresa Hernandez and Ruban Hernandez of Clovis, NM; Rita Troupe of Ohio; Fred Lucero of Virginia; Richard Lucero and wife Corey of Santa Fe, NM, and Vicente "JR" Carrasco of Forth Worth, TX; and many beloved cousins.
She was preceded in death by her uncle, Lucio Carrasco; aunt, Alice Martinez; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
The family will be at 1508 Wilshire Blvd., Clovis, NM 88101.
